Engine Cooling System problems of the 2007 Lexus IS350

Two problems related to engine cooling system have been reported for the 2007 Lexus IS350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 10/15/2015

The contact owns a 2007 Lexus is 350. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 14v647000 (fuel system, gasoline), 13v395000 (engine), 13v030000 (visibility/wiper), 11v029000 (fuel system, gasoline), and 10v309000 (engine and engine cooling). The parts to do the repairs were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.

2 Engine Cooling System problem

Failure Date: 02/02/2015

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Lexus is 350. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v340000 (air bags) and stated that the part was not available within a reasonable time frame to schedule the recall repair for over two years. The dealer (servco Lexus honolulu, 650 kapiolani blvd, honolulu, hi 96813, (808) 545-3987) did not give a specific date for when the part would become available. The manufacturer could not provide an estimated date for when the contact's vehicle would receive the recall repair. In addition, the vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 09v020000 (engine and engine cooling). The contact was not experiencing a failure. Parts distribution disconnect.
