The contact owns a 2020 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated while driving approximately 25 mph and climbing a slight grade, the vehicle began to shake. The contact stated that she stopped depressing the accelerator pedal and the shaking stopped. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact had taken the vehicle to a local dealer, where it was not diagnosed and not repaired. The contact had received a letter from the manufacturer stating that there was a fuel seepage failure from the high/low pressure fuel pump. The contact stated that the letter advised the manufacturer would replace the fuel pump if it failed in the next 10 years. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer had been informed of the failure. The contact had researched online and found that there was a recall for the fuel pump under NHTSA campaign number: 20v682000 (fuel system, gasoline). The failure mileage was approximately 11,500.
