Sun/moon Roof Assembly problems of the 2017 Lexus RX350

The contact owns a 2017 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 mph, the glass sunroof suddenly exploded causing shards of glass to fall into the cabin of the vehicle onto the driver. The contact indicated that no object had struck the sunroof to cause the glass to shatter. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable to determine the cause of the failure. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 58,190.
