I received a safety recall from Lexus sometime last year, although I don't know exactly when. There is no date on any of the information that was sent to me, but I believe it was sometime last summer. Nothing has happened to my car, yet, but I don't believe a "safety" recall notice should take months and months to be fixed. When I got the notice, I called my Lexus dealership and asked when I could expect my car to be fixed and they said they did not know when they would get the part and would let me know. I have never heard from them. This recall is for a low pressure fuel pump which could cause the vehicle to stall while driving. To confirm, so far nothing has happened to my car.
