The contact owns a 2023 Lexus RX 350h. The contact stated that while driving, approximate mph was unknown, when a vehicle on the shoulder, to the right of them, suddenly began to cross in front of their vehicle to get to the median. This caused the contact's vehicle to t-bone the corner of their vehicle. The right front fender had been damaged causing the door to no longer open. No airbags deployed. There were no injuries and no medical attention was needed. A police report was filed. The vehicle was able to be driven from the crash. The vehicle had not been taken for diagnosis or repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 26,000.
I was a passenger in an accident. I was sitting in the front passenger seat. We were sitting in standstill traffic. Our vehicle was struck from behind; it caused the vehicle to shift and was hit again on front driver side of the vehicle. Airbag’s deployed on the driver side (front and back) but not the front passenger. Seatbelts were worn. I suffered a concussion and a herniated disc.

Pulled into hotel parking lot at 11:05am (perfect weather - parking lot empty) and ,after turning into the parking spot at a slow speed, the car suddenly accelerated and hit the side of the hotel. The building wasn't damaged, but the car had serious frontal damage. The hotel manager didn't call the police so there isn't a police report. The air bags did not go off. I feel there were several possible Lexus problems with this incident: the air bags did not go off even though there was over $17,000 in repairs (even the engine had to be removed),; the automatic braking system didn't engage; and the sudden acceleration of the car from a slow entry into the parking space. Currently the car is at a Lexus dealer waiting for the Lexus hired inspector to examine it. We have pictures and a complete list of repairs if requested. W e do not have a report yet from the Lexus inspection because it hasn't been inspected yet.

Takata recall. Airbags on passenger side all deployed with zero impact to the vehicle. A truck was driving 5 mph next to me when he had a blowout and the loud noise caused the airbags to deploy.
Tl the contact owns a 2007 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated that a garbage truck t-boned the driver's side of his vehicle. All of the air bags deployed except the curtain air bags on the driver's side and front passenger side. The driver sustained minor bruising, which required medical treatment. A police report was filed. The insurance company towed the vehicle to a yard and a repair facility for inspection. The dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 170,000.

As I was trying to park my vehicle, it accelerated and hit a building then went backwards. I managed to keep the car from reversing into the street but the brakes did not work and car did not slow down. It hit the building a second time. I put the car in park and it stopped. None of the airbags inflated and the car was totaled. Toyota took no blame for the accident and I'm left without a vehicle. This car is in a group of recalled cars, Lexus does not have records of ever recalling this truck.

Auto accident / other driver fault- 20 + miles per hour in motion front end collision/ impact . Frame damage to both sides of SUV. Total 3 passengers. No airbags deployed on front driver. No airbags deployed at all.
While slowly pulling into parking space in the parking lot of the local post office, with foot on brake pedal car quickly accelerated forward with engine reaving. Car shot forward going over concrete car stops toward a creek and smashed into a stand of trees. Driver airbags deployed. Complete front of vehicle including hood and windshield were smashed and driven into engine compartment. I believe this is a case of unintended acceleration caused by the vehicle malfunctioning. There have been multiple documented complaints of this happening in Lexus RX 350 vehicles. The floor mat was securely in place and had not moved and the driver insists her foot was on the brake petal at all times. There were no obstructions in or around the accelerator petal or the brake. Paramedics were called to scene and a police report was filed.

The contact owns a 2010 Lexus Rx350. While driving 75 mph, the side curtain air bags deployed while driving on uneven pavement. The failure occurred without warning or impact. There were no injuries. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer (charles barker Lexus virginia beach, 3909 virginia beach blvd, virginia beach, va 23452), but the cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided an investigator to diagnose the vehicle. The contact was unable to contact anyone concerning the results of the diagnostic. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 49,000.
I hit other car I press break . Brake not work air bag not come out, precoluation not work.
My dashboard is cracked over the passenger airbag. I am the original owner and the car has been in an indoor garage for 10 years. Car has been serviced every 3000 miles for 10 years.
Air bag failure light on, air conditioning does not work, broken or cracked board almost everywhere, air conditioning does not work, maintenance light always on despite mechanical overhaul.
Takata recall while stopped at red light. My car was hit head-on by another vehicle. My car was totaled. No airbags deployed in my car. Myself and my daughter seated on pax seat were injured. I was thrown into steering wheel which resulted in broken sternum. Police were surprised the bags did not deploy. I contacted Lexus, they said attorneys would discuss it with me. I said I just wanted them to look at the car and explain why the bags did not deploy this was in mid Nov. They said engineering would go look at auto. Tanisha 586-578-7366 engineering was to coordinate the event. They kept putting it off and obvious to me they just want to bury the incident. The car is at auction block and will be sold within the next month and cut up. I think there could be a safety issue and it needs to be looked at. Randall brown 2398967047.

I want to know if my car's air bags are safe. I recently was told many older Lexus SUV's had dangerous air bags and the car owners were able to receive safe cars from Lexus.
While driving at 30-35 miles per hour I hit a Mini van from behind in stop and go traffic. My Lexus at this point had 2500 miles was 3 months old and I was driving alone with no passengers. When I hit the other vehicle every airbag (around 12) deployed which in conjuction with seemingly minor exterior damage resulted in this brand new car being totalled.
Takata recall. The contact owns a 2016 Lexus Rx350. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16vv053000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure.
I understand that my car has a possible problem with the takata air bag and I want them replaced before a death occurs.
My car has been mostly stationary and kept in my garage for 3 years. This year I experienced the dashboard and ignition area melting and cracking. I feel it may affect the functionality of the airbag. Also, I do not know if there may be some sort of chemical release that is not healthy to me or my passengers. Visibility is also a problem since there is a severe glare from the dash on to my windshield.
I have contacted Lexus multiple times and they say they don't have parts to fix airbag.
Collision with another vehicle. Lexus driver's seat belt did not restrain driver and airbag blew open allowing driver to impact steering wheel hard enough to sustain a fractured sternum and chest wall injury.
The dashboard on my Lexus Rx350 has cracked in 4 places. Of serious concern is the multiple cracks on the glove compartment on the passenger side that houses the airbags. I have addressed this with Lexus and they refuse to replace the dashboard. They offered a 25% on the repair. This is a major problem occurring all over the world and Lexus/Toyota is refusing to address it because defects are not repaired after the warranty expires. It is a safety concern of the highest order and I am requesting the NHTSA order a recall on all makes and models that have cracked dashboards. Thank you.

I own a Lexus SUV, my third Lexus/Toyota brand vehicle. So I trusted the safety and reliability. One day everything is fine. The next day, I see a small crack in the lower part of the dashboard of the passenger seat. Literally, one day fine and the next cracked and without a single incident that caused it. In just a matter of weeks, my entire left dashboard is cracking and chipping and it continues to spread and detoriate day by day. I am shocked and alarmed! I do not trust that this dashboard is safe as I am greatly concerned that the air bag (s) will be compromised. I am also concerned that it could components integral to the operation of the vehicle. This is well-known issue with Toyota and Lexus (affecting tens of thousands of vehicles) yet little to no action has been taken and I respectfully request a recall. It has been covered extensively in news stories, on the web and by dealerships concerned about customer satisfaction and safety. There are also known to be internal documents by Toyota that acknowledges the problem. I contacted Lexus corporate and it sent me to a local Lexus dealer to document the issue and this went back to Lexus corporate. This languished for many weeks without follow up and then my claim was unceremoniously denied and without explanation. I am greatly concerned. Thank you for your time and attention.

Dash on RX 350 is cracking significantly. This cracking is so extreme that my wife was tempted to place a cover over the dash that would interfere with proper inflation of the airbag. I am concerned that other owners will place covers, tape, adhesives, or other measures over the bags and this could lead to an injury.
Recall there has been a series of complaints regarding the dashboard of Lexus getting sticky and cracking further and further as time goes by. I am now also included in this list of unsatisfied and concerned owner. My 2009 Lexus Rx350 has noticeable stickiness in the dashboard and cracking in certain locations all over the dashboard. What is alarming is that the cracks are beginning to be more noticeable around or on the airbag location on the dashboard. I am alarmed and concerned because of how the cracks is spreading it may cause the airbag to deploy accidentally. The dealer offered to supply the necessary parts but wants me to pay up to $1000 in labor. The to me is very insulting because this is known as an issue and it is a manufacturer fault not owner. Please advice. Thank you on advance.
The covering on my passenger air bag is flaking off and dashboard cracking causing concern of premature deployment.
Turning into a parking spot at a very slow rate of speed due to the congested nature of the shopping center. Pulled in with foot on the brake and started to put vehicle into park when the engine revd and the car accelerated very quickly over the curb and into the wall of the shopping center. I felt no control over the vehicle. Only issue with car since purchase were the brakes had to be resurfaced shortly after we got it. Witnesses in the car behind me waiting for me to park also stated that they were shocked to see the car launch forward as they saw that I was near a dead stop. Damage to front end but able to get car back home. Contacted park place Lexus in plano TX and service representative stated they would to it to the dealership for investigation. 30 mins after two truck left, sales person calls to tell me that they should not have towed it and he had specific instructions from lexas corp not to work on or open a repair ticket on a care reporting unintentional acceleration. I needed to call the main 800 number. Now have to get car back to house at my expense so the Lexus paid "independent investigator" can come look at the vehicle in 3-5 days. Mortified at the thought this could have killed someone walking along the sidewalk. Too many reports of this issue during parking events. Something needs to be done. Lexus has the opp to do the right thing. . . Let's see if they stand behind their vehicles. One or two instances is driver error. . . . Not enough to force Toyota to settle for billions rather than face a jury. Just saying. . . If I had any doubt about whether I hit the accelerator instead of the brake I wouldln't take the time to report this to a gov agency.
I have been notified of the defective airbag for 3-4 years. Everything I contact the toll free number I am told that I will be contacted when enough parts become available. My dashboard board has been craving from the divers side completely across and not only looks horrible but appears to be very unsafe for me as a senior citizen to drive. . . I am 69 years old and purchased this car during retirement. I am extremely disappointed in the length of time that has passed with no action. . . Please help me. I am 69 years old. The dash board is in crumbling before my eyes. I have called them numerous times. . . Please help.
My dash has several major cracks. Vehicle was stationary when cracks appeared. It is unknown when this happened as I just bought the Lexus.
