Other Fuel System Pump Problems of Lexus RX350

I received a safety recall from Lexus sometime last year, although I don't know exactly when. There is no date on any of the information that was sent to me, but I believe it was sometime last summer. Nothing has happened to my car, yet, but I don't believe a "safety" recall notice should take months and months to be fixed. When I got the notice, I called my Lexus dealership and asked when I could expect my car to be fixed and they said they did not know when they would get the part and would let me know. I have never heard from them. This recall is for a low pressure fuel pump which could cause the vehicle to stall while driving. To confirm, so far nothing has happened to my car. Nhtsa no. 20v-682 I am putting today's date in the area of "when did this happen".

I tried accelerating on the highway (pch in santa monica, CA) while traveling forward at about 45-50 mph, but the vehicle hesitated. This is the forth time there has been a hesitation in acceleration since owning the car, but this time there was a message on my dash. The message stated that there was "an obstruction with the pedal and acceleration was retarded. " I later looked down at the pedals felt around the them, but found nothing obstructing. At the time, the vehicle had less than a quarter tank of gas but not low enough for the low fuel warning to come on. After driving about 15 more miles - the low fuel warning came on. I have always put premium fuel in the vehicle and my wife doesn't put gas in the vehicle. A recall was recently performed pertaining to the fuel pump at the dealer - pertaining to low.

The vehicle was stalling and sputtering after driving less than 0. 1 mile on a city street. After contacting the Lexus dealership regarding the issue, we had the vehicle towed into the Lexus dealership. After running a diagnostic check, they determined the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle has 51,701 miles on it. The towing charge was $101, and the repairs were $808. 96. Approximately a month later, I saw that Toyota and Lexus were recalling various models and years with a similar issue that we experienced. Although the 2016 Rx350 is not currently included, I contacted Lexus because the coincidence was too much to ignore. Lexus advised that our vehicle is not currently included in recall NHTSA 20v012000.

Vehicle experienced rough transmission mostly between gear number 2 and 3 after take off. Vehicle stalled around rpm 1200 - 1500 during normal drive at highway, then suddenly shifted forward with excessive force. Encountered very dangerous situations on highway on my recent trip. I almost hit the vehicle at the front for a few times due to consistent rough shift pattern. I have taken this vehicle to Lexus dealership several times to address issue in the past. Updated ecu software didn't resolve the problem, and always keep coming back. I believe this issue could have been related to recent fuel pump recall, but the recall didn't include the 2017 RX 350 models. Please investigate for safety issue. Thank you.

Dear customere services, I got a notice for recall fuel pump may fail 1- I make an appoint with Lexus of las vegas for a recall on may 06, 2020 later on the Lexus of las vegas canceled my an appointment due to the part was not available � 2- I make another appointment to bring my car for a recall with the same issue after 1 day they send me an email to canceled my services due to the part if the part not available or Lexus need to recall for safety if the vehiche stall occur while driving, this could increase the risk of crash Lexus do not need to send the recall notice to the consumer and later the Lexus dealer cancel the services due to tha part not available.

I have almost been t-boned four times in 2 months since I bought this vehicle due to it randomly stalling briefly while turning. Occasionally I lose power while going uphill, and I have had several instances of my vehicle �jumping� or surging. It happens while I am driving, but the majority if the time I have noticed it, it happens when I am turning or accelerating. I have not had any lights on the dashboard come on, but I have has this issue since day one of buying the vehicle and when I saw the recall that was expanded today on Toyota and Lexus vehicles for a faulty fuel pump, I started reading about it and it sounds like exactly what my issue is. The recall covers 2017-2019 and my car is a 2016, but I believe it should be included as well.

While driving on a city street the warning lights came on and the car stalled. I was alone in the car and in downtown city traffic with honking cars behind me. I was able to restart the car after a few attempts. A few days after this incident, while driving on a very busy hwy at 55mph the car engine was skipping as if about to stall. I had a passenger in my car who experienced this rough ride and made a comment about it. A few days later, on March 8,2020, I received an email from Lexus enform services with a vehicle health report informing me that my vehicle requires attention due to a safety recall 20la01. When I leased my vehicle, I was never informed of this recall which goes back to 01/13/2020. Safety is a top concern for me and I fully communicated this to the salesperson when I leased my car but I was not informed of this recall at that time. I have exactly 2800 miles on my car. I am not able to use it because the service department at Lexus does not have a remedy available to fix the low -pressure fuel pump and they do not know when they will have it. I want to drive a vehicle that is safe not one that increases the risk of having a crash.

On Jan 13, 2020 Lexus announced that my 2019 Rx350 has a low pressure fuel pump that could fail resulting in an increase in the risk of a crash. Lexus has informed me that a fix is not available. I left the car at the dealer on Jan. 27, 2020. The car is still there after 6 weeks. There is still not fix to the problem and I will not let my wife drive this car with this issue. Any suggestions?.

Car has low pressure fuel pump that if it fails may result in car not running, which could be very dangerous should it happen while on freeway. A recall was issued in January by Lexus, and now at the end of June, there is still no fix for the problem.

My car stalls on acceleration. No check engine light comes on. I have researched the internet and discovered that there are recalls for fuel pump failures on some toyotas I have checked with the dealer and the recall site using the VIN. Nothing I believe I have a defective fuel pump that was installed on my vehicle. I would appreciate Toyota repair it. .

Low-pressure fuel pump which may stop operating.

2019 model Lexus r350l are installed with low efficiency "fuel pump system" and this is a recall form the manufacturer. Still there is no remedy ??.

It got buzzies or whinging noise from fuel pump even my car is 65000 miles that I already brought to dealer. They said no more warranty over 6 years. It made me shame and hurt because Lexus said warranty mile by mile. It is not true. What can I do to fix this problem that made people sit rear headache with this noises.
