Wiper Problems of Lexus RX350

Mirror of driver side vibration when driving. This cause of double image effected driving safety.

My 2022 RX , the driver side outer rear view mirror image vibration while driving on highway at speed around 60 mph +/- then start shaking. Report the issue to dealer when regular service, the mechanic report this is normal after inspect the problem, but this vibration and shaking is really annoying while driving on highway. Some drivers may have the same issue and cause some risks.

Sunroof spontaneously shattered.

My wife was driving down I-75 on a very rainy downpour. She turned on the wipers and the passenger side wipers did not work. She arrived home and took the car the next day to a Lexus dealership. The bolts were loose. There should be a fail safe to prevent this from happening. Of all the cars we have owned. . . . . . . . . . This has never happened before. (including a 2007 Lexus we also drive).

Passenger wiper was making a loud knocking sound and hitting the hood. Learned that the arm was bent, causing the wiper to hit the interior of the hood and has caused paint to rub off on the hood.

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Lexus Rx350. While driving at 60 mph the contact's sunroof exploded. The explosion was loud and made the contact drive off the road when it happened. The vehicle was taken to nalley Lexus 980 mansell rd, roswell, GA 30076 (404) 994-4325 where the mechanics diagnosed the vehicle and they won't fix the failure due to warranty issues. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. They provided no assistance. The failure mileage was 36,600. Jw.

Tl- the contact owns a 2018 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated that the head lights beamed about 75 feet ahead of the vehicle, making it difficult to see anything close up. The vehicle was taken to the newport Lexus dealer (949-482-6122, located at 3901 macarthur blvd, newport beach, CA 92660) where the technician was unable to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and sent a representative who stated that the issue would be researched. The contact was not called back. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000. Tl-the contact owns a 2009 Lexus Rx350. The contact was alerted by a neighbor that the rear tailgate glass was broken. The vehicle was melted by the tailgate on the passenger side. The contact opened the door and the vehicle was wet inside, including contents inside the vehicle. A police report was attached to the door of the vehicle, indicating there was a fire that was put out by the fire department. That was all the contact knew at this time and the insurance company counted the vehicle as a total loss since there was fire and water damage. The manufacturer was not contacted. The heads up display unit causes a distracting reflection into the drivers eyes that interferes with vision while driving. This occurs when the car is stationary, in motion, on a city street and highway, and/or turning. This was not identified until after the new car was purchased.

This is a supplemental entry to modify complaint 11115465. It should be noted that the heads up display reflected sunlight directly into the drivers eyes causing serious distraction and a serious safety concern. Lexus corporation was notified of the situation through the dealership but did not offer any fix to the situation and the dealer reported that they were therefore not allowed to fix the reflection and remove the hazard. The complaint to Lexus is documented and more information can be provided upon request.

Passenger wiper was streaking; assumed the blade needed replacing. Instead, learned that the arm was bent, causing the wiper to hit the interior of the hood and has caused paint to rub off on the hood. Our Lexus is only taken through a touch less car wash or the one at the Lexus dealership. The passenger wiper is impossible to lift given its tucked position. I do not see how this could have happened by removing snow from the windshield.

While driving down the highway (approximately 60mph), I heard a loud noise & I did not know what it was at first. Upon looking up, I saw my closed moonroof shattered & I had tiny shards of glass on my shoulder & on the console below it. I inspected the damage after stopping a little later & there is a clear ridge of separation. This was not from a rock or other object with one primary point of damage.

Main wiper arm the extends to cover more glass area (in other words, the right wiper) bent, causing the wiper to hit the hood. Our Lexus isn't taken through a car wash, and the dealership wanted to blame it on snow, but last winter we didn't have snow. This happened in the middle of summer. It has caused paint to rub off on the hood and makes a bang every time it hits the hood.

2016 RX models equipped with the heads-up display have an issue with the oem windshield showing a second image of bright lights at night. This occurs for streetlights, stoplights, led tail lights, and even incandescent tail lights. The double image is clear and distinct approximately 1/4" below the original image at 100 feet ahead of the bright object and it slowly moves to join the original image as you approach the bright object. When driving at night, this gives a parallax effect and is distracting. Due to a chip in the windshield, the oem windshield was replaced with another oem windshield that also demonstrated the same issue. Other 2016 RX models at the dealer exhibited the same effect. Nothing can be done at this time from the dealer and the district manager.

My car has been mostly stationary and kept in my garage for 3 years. This year I experienced the dashboard and ignition area melting and cracking. I feel it may affect the functionality of the airbag. Also, I do not know if there may be some sort of chemical release that is not healthy to me or my passengers. Visibility is also a problem since there is a severe glare from the dash on to my windshield.

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Lexus Rx350. The contact stated that while operating the vehicle in the snow the wipers were unable to remove the snow from the driver side of the front windshield due to snow and salt occumilation. After inspecting the vehicle it was discovered that the snow and salt accumulation had clogged the wiper fluid nozzle preventing the ability to spray windshield wiper fluid onto the front driver side of the wind shield which impair the vision of the driver. The vehicle was taken to the local deal Lexus of smithtown located at 700 middle country rd. , st. James NY. Who indicated there was not problems with the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 6,000. Jft.

Exploding passenger side mirror I own a 2009 Lexus RX-350. It's in excellent condition with limited mileage. Last week, we were stopped at a stoplight when suddenly there was a very loud & frightening explosion emanating from the passenger side mirror. The mirror came flying out of its casing, hanging by its wires, & was cracked. Moreover, the fluid that's in these auto-dimming mirrors sprayed/dripped onto various panels, damaging the paint.
