One of the tires was losing air due to a side wall plug that was installed by the dealer without the consumer's knowledge. The tire was replaced. (goodyear tire).
All four tires are cupping, and at 27000 miles manufacturer wants to replace the tires. P215/60r16, original equipment, 27000 miles mounted on Lincoln Ls, 2000. Consumer stated that the tires had been rotated three times but all four tires were cupped and shows wear.
Vehicle had a blowout with firestone brand tires (firehawk lh p215/60 r16 94v)that seems to have the same structural damage as those seen in Ford explorers.
Under normal driving conditions, the right front and right rear tires were making a bumping noise. Took vehicle to local tire service center and discovered both tires were separating. Replaced tires immediately due to safety concerns. (dot number: w2x8 tiresize: 2156016).
The tire tread partially separated from the tire and caused me to loose control of the vehicle( dot number: tire size: p235 50r17 ).
