Wiper Problems of Lincoln Mark

The contact owns a 2006 Lincoln Mark lt. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle unexpectedly accelerated, and the instrument panel failed to display properly. The contact also stated that after refueling the vehicle, there was an abnormally strong gasoline odor inside the cabin of the vehicle. Additionally, the contact stated that the fuel tank could be filled. The contact also stated that the windshield wipers occasionally operated independently. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the fuel sensor and the instrument cluster had failed and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was not available.
