Consumer called complaining about having problems with the engine. Engine was designed that it did not give the spark plug enough space for it to work properly. Also, spark plug blew out, and caused damages to the engine. Dealer and manufacturer were not contacted at the time of this call.
Purchased vehicle in 1998 (2yr lease vehicle). From 1998-2001 there have been two engines replaced. Ford has replaced but not addressed why this vehicle would be on a 3rd engine and yet was approx 4+ yrs old when 1st engine was replaced. First replacement was Feb 25, 2000 by capital Ford (san jose, calif). Would like to address vibration of 3rd engine, paint decoloration and fading airconditioner.
