Side/window Air Bag problems of the 2015 Lincoln MKC

The contact owns a 2015 Lincoln Mkc. The contact stated that there were cracks on the dashboard that were approximately 4 inches long causing the passenger side air bag to be exposed. The contact had the vehicle diagnosed by the dealer and they suggested an independent mechanic due to the cost of the repair. The vehicle was then taken to an independent mechanic where the repairs were declined sue to the location of the cracks. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired.
