The dealer and manufacturer informed that the part would not be available until October of 2015. The failure mileage was 90,000.

The contact stated that while driving 35 mph and pulling up to a stop sign, the contact became aware of fluid leaking from the vehicle. The vehicle was driven to a family member's residence to be inspected. The contact was informed that the fuel tank was leaking. The vehicle was towed to classic Ford Lincoln of columbia (177 greystone blvd, columbia, SC 29210, (888) 416-4559) but was not repaired. The dealer confirmed that the remedy part was not available. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000. The parts distribution disconnect.
