While driving on interstate I-10 at posted speeds, the engine began to sputter, lose acceleration and the check engine light appeared, the car was driven off the freeway (less than 1/8 mile) to the closest safe area. The car was then towed to the mechanic. An ignition coil was burned and the pcm/processor had failed. All 6 coils were replaced as well as the pcm following TSB 14-0059, after the pcm and coils were replaced, a check engine light still appeared indicating failure of the rear catalytic converter. At the time of the incident, mileage was approx. 71,195 miles.
