Backup camera faulty won’t connect just black screen.

The right headlight is filling up with condensation which is shorting out the battery. Replaced it more condensation is back in it. Mechanic says seals are no good says its a common problem in all Lincolns. Lights and adaptive module cost well over 5k for one light not including the labor. This is a potential for a fire hazard.

My 2007 Lincoln Mkx had an sua and within 10 feet totaled the front end when it was thrust into a cement building. This happened on [xxx] and the vehicle is available for inspection here in ft. Wayne, indiana. In 2010 Lincoln implemented an override device to the brake system knowing of the problem and there was no recall for vehicles prior to 2010. My safety was put at risk and that of others. If someone had been exiting the store or walking down the sidewalk they could have been killed. I am suffering with physical and mental problems as a result of this. Police report also states this was definitely a vehicle malfunction. There were no warning signs prior to the incident. The contact owns a 2013 Lincoln Mkx. The contact stated when the vehicle was started the "service brakes" warning light illuminated. The contact stated that several other unknown warning lights were illuminated when the vehicle was started several days later. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed who retrieved dtc code: u3000; 49-68. The dealer determined that the abs module needed to be replaced; however, the parts to repair the vehicle were on a national backorder. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 92,109.

My dash touchscreen display became inoperable, no radio, no camera, no nothing my wiper blades come on by themselves and won't allow me to shut them off. The headlights remain on in the auto position. . . They won't shut off. Warning lights on the dash comes on at times (lights up with lots of warnings) I'm no auto professional, but I think my issues are linked. I also, see that years ago there was a body control module recall that mentioned electrical shorts that could possibly cause a vehicle fire. Omg, I believe there's an electrical problem and I am hoping that the recall would cover these issues.

Left front drivers door flies open while driving. Door has already been repaired twice by dealers and problem keeps returning.

Noticed for the last year or two that the buttons on my air and best turn on without to touch any button and will not power off also the windows will fog while driving. If heat is on the buttons will dial to air conditioning which causes foggy windows while on busy interstate. Also noticed there are several complaints on the internet from others who experience similarities of what is call ghost buttons. This also send sensor into a frenzy and can cause the car to over heat without warning happen to me twice.

I am having issues with my touch screen. My screen will go black every other week, for about a day and the the snyc will update. This time, it’s been over a week, and the screen is still black. I have tried changing fuses to no avail. Also, the rear camera does not work. Along with the blind spot warning or the rear cross traffic warning. How should I proceed? I believe it may be a faulty chip in the computer board.

Driver side front door sensor says car door is open even when door is firmly shut. Causes doors not to lock, interior and puddle lights remain on, drains battery, doors won't lock even with car in motion. Severe rust problems under carriage air bag light remains on.

The major problem occurred right after purchase as check engine light came on. The dealership was no help and refused to take vehicle back. The vehicle is nice looking but the mechanical is a lemon. I purchased this in 2020 and paid $24000. It’s a 2016 Lincoln Mkx. I repaired problems and due to covid and my lifestyle I rarely traveled. I have more medical issues and require more frequent doctor visits. I never went back to brennegen after not standing by this vehicle shortly after purchase. I just tried to focus on the positive and started doing business elsewhere. I maintained proper service. Brennegen did not disclose active recall before purchase. Since purchase I have repaired two problems brakes, and fire risk to engine. At this months regular oils change my current mechanic dahl Ford said the water pump was leaking. The estimated repair is $5000. I paid just to have it diagnosed yesterday as I have not $5000. I followed their advice and parked this. My vehicle is currently not drivable. I investigated and discovered Lincoln Ford has several class action lawsuits filed against them. Many consumers have the water pump problem and unfortunately Lincoln was well informed of this since 2007 and purposely have not fixed the issue. Yet currently many consumers like me are in danger of eminent engine failure and catastrophic failure of Lincoln vehicles. The cost is far more expensive for many and consumers should not be victims of lemons and fraud. Lincoln knew and currently knows of problem. They denied to buy back my vehicle or repair it. The case was just filed yesterday and Lincoln denied it in less than 12 hours. Without any investigation or explanation they just told the other department rep to call me back and deny my complaint. I am not the only o e and lawyers are now involved in class action . Please help me start o e I. My area or get Lincoln to stand behind their advertisement as this is a blatant lie. The water pump is too expensive to fix. Please help!.

Tracking system and 911 assist would not work. Vehicle would not start. 01.

I have spent numerous (more than 3 major problems) for example, a lot of dollars fixing water pump. The design is messed up where they place the water pump. Thousands in labor. The electric driver control malfunction and tire pressure is always lit. This occurred on drive home from brake recall fix. The engine stalls and also leaks. The seat moves sometimes without me wanting it to. The emergency brake slams on and stops and locks the car when in drive or reverse. Lincoln has been zero help and gave false promises.

The power steering went completely out while I was driving down the highway. I believe the problem is related to the power steering control module and the electric assist rack and pinion steering. It was the most dangerous situation I ever encountered. I narrowly missed causing an accident. There are several makes of Ford/Lincoln vehicles that have this problem dating back to 2011. The service advance trac displayed, steering assist fault service required displayed, pre collision assist not available displayed, hill assist not available displayed and a few others. They first appeared on Dec. 4th and next appeared around the 28th. The Mkx is currently at joe machens Lincoln in columbia, mo being inspected by the dealership and endurance, my warranty company.

In early September the vehicle was completely without electrical power. My husband was able to jump start the car. We bought a new battery from autozone and it was installed by their technician. September 22, 2022 the same issue occurred and the car had to be jump started. I took the vehicle to the dealership who was able to find no cause of the failure. There were no warning lamps, messages or other symptoms (no difficulty starting etc. ) based on other accounts this appears to be associated with NHTSA campaign # 19v809000 - electrical system. The dealership did not charge me for anything related to this failure as they could not recreate it.

The contact's husband replaced the battery, and the vehicle restarted; however, the failure reoccurred twice. The contact stated that the vehicle would not start. The dealer was notified of the failure and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 122,000.

Body control module has developed an internal short that is causing safety systems not to work. It is also affecting the heating/ air conditioning, tire pressure monitoring system. This was recalled previously but the manufacturer wont do anything about it. I have had the vehicle at 2 separate dealerships who say the same thing, that the part is not available and can't be repaired. I called Ford directly and they are refusing to do anything about it since the old recall was performed but clearly never fixed the issue.

Bad apim module.

Vehicle (SUV) floor board and truck had standing water from unknown source. Suspect rear hatch and/or glass roof design allows for environmental contamination to enter. Water travels down to floor and pools. For example, spare tire was found to be submerged. Rear seat and trunk carpeting were moist (saturated) to the touch. Concern: if water in the vehicle is undetected and is allowed to pool for long periods of time, three things will happen: 1. Accelerated corrosion and loss of function for any electrical wiring. 2. Standing water can develop mold, impacting air quality through long term and repeated exposure. Impact of vehicle occupants health. (in our instance, mom & newborn) 3. Accelerated corrosion of vehicle internal structure. For example, seat fasteners. Item was discovered by third party service center and dealership is investigating root cause now. Dealer commented this is a problem more common with other models in the same family but not the model of this vehicle. No warning or indicator of the problem was present.

While driving, there is an electrical issue that is causing warning alarms to go off for hill-descend control, advance-trac traction control, etc. During this time, there is also a complete loss of power steering and making the vehicle almost impossible to turn. The first incident happened on November 26, 2021 around 7pm were I was able to stop prior to hitting a building. I shut the vehicle off and back on again and the power steering was now working. I was unable to get Lincoln to tow the vehicle because it was "too far" from the roadside tow drivers service area. On the same day, I drove it the rest of the way home but upon exciting the highway around 7:30pm, the power steering again went out and I was able to stop the vehicle prior to going into the ditch next to the road. I had it towed to a Lincoln dealer in wixom, michigan but over the weekend could not locate the vehicle and at that point I was talking to an advisor with Lincoln. They told her it would be at least 5 weeks before they could even look at the vehicle so per her recommendation, it was towed to lafontaine Lincoln in flushing, michigan. It was in the shop until Wednesday, December 15th. I was informed they changed out the steering rack and pinion but was given no paperwork because they told me it was all covered under warranty. On December 21, 2021 while driving on linden road in fenton, michigan, it did the same thing with my wife driving and resulted in a compete loss of power steering and she went into the oncoming lane around a bend before she was able to get the vehicle stopped. Luckily there was no oncoming traffic. I will be having it towed again to the dealership. Luckily for me, these incidents have only resulted in near-miss situations but this is a major issue and will result in serious accidents if it hasn't already.

The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic who replaced the battery and indicated that the gear selector indicator on the gauge cluster and shifter buttons remained illuminated while the vehicle was off causing the battery to drain. The cause of the failure was not determined. The local dealer and manufacturer were notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 85,000.

My brakes will go out for no reason. Also, my electrical system (dashboard) will freeze up for no apparent reason. I have taken it to the Ford dealership numerous times, but I was told neither was a recall issue and they could not help me unless it happened when they could actually "see" it happen. Yes. They said that.

Warning light message: vehicle transmission is not in park google search found many same complaints for older Lincolns. When repaired, would reoccur.

First it was the alarm system it would lock me out the car. Then it was the air conditioning it would only turn on when it wanted too. Then I would press the seat cooler and it malfunctioned and I had a second degree burn on my lower back. Then the check engine light came on and it started to overheat. I pulled over turned off the ignition and the car was still running. That happened twice my mechanic would come turn the car off even by disconnecting the battery the car was still on somehow he had to disconnect another part for car to turn off. He told me not move it anymore. 15 to 20 minutes later the car was on fire and the fire department came and turned it off. I bought the car on 4/24/2021 and it was on fire on 05/27/2021.

Shortly afterwards smoke was coming out of the engine compartment and the vehicle caught on fire. Fire marshals were called to scene and the fire was extinguished. A fire report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an insurance lot, where it was diagnosed with being destroyed. Upon investigation, the contact associated the failure with, NHTSA campaign number: 19v809000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was informed of failure and they apologized to contact for the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 29,600.

The contact owns 2017 Lincoln Mkx. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the vehicle lost motive power and stalled without warning. The contact stated that the failure also occurred while driving at highway speeds. After restarting the vehicle, the vehicle would operate normally. The contact stated that during the failure, the check engine and traction control warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who was unable the determine the cause of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not yet contacted. The failure mileage was 58,000.

Engine computer /transmission /alt at bill talley Ford electrical system installed alt. Then was told I had transmission problems never had before they programed engine computer two times and gave the car back back to me with problems I never had and could solve.

The hvac and pcm needed the VIN number recoded?? two hours of labor at a cost of $385. Dollars. Reason is heat would blow cold air on drivers side and heat on passagem side. Dealer said the vehicle VIN number needed to be corrected in both the hvac and pcm modules. . Dealer said it is a glitch? vehicle is used regularly and the cabin air filter had just been changed by the dealer when problem started.

While driving on the highway, brake pedal goes to the floor board. Replaced rotors brake pads and calipers. A couple of weeks later, pedal goes to floorboard again. Replaced master cylinder, but was told it was probably the abs booster. Needs to be a recall. This is the 60 th complaint. Also back up camera is upside down.

While in motion it states that the sensors for collision are blocked. While running but parked the electrical/ electronics that run the entertainment system and touch screen are off and will not turn on. The back hatch buttons do not open or close the rear door properly. The sun roof does not fully open whether parked or in motion.

When you hit the gas pedal you lose all acceleration. You have to drift to a complete stop, turn the car off and then restart it. Have almost been hit multiple times and once on the highway traveling about 50 mph. Thankfully traffic was not heavy and I was able to get my car stopped and restarted before the possibility of someone running into us. There was no shoulder to pull off on because of construction. It was terrifying. It happens randomly and there is no warning as to when. A vehicle in this condition is not safe to drive and Lincoln seems to not know what the problem is so they send people home in their defective vehicles because as they say they can't get the problem to duplicate so they told me that there is nothing wrong with my car and sent me home now twice. Trust me there is something wrong with my car and many others and it is a huge safety hazard!!!.
