Vehicle states that it is not in park even though the gear shift is clearly in park. Passenger side climate control turns itself to lowest temp. Fogs windshield because of passenger side climate control issue. Driver side door says ajar even though door is closed.

Had all air filters replaced and air unit replaced due to over heating but still when turn air on and on seats jumps or loses throttle and lights go off and at times seats re adjust while driving, keeps happing can't figure it out.

Door ajar warning while rear driver side door is closed. When the door is closed, the door ajar light stays on and the doors never latch while driving. Which affects several electrical components such as, automatic door latchs, alarm system, courtesy lights and other electrical components.

Sporadically get a message that the driver from door is ajar when it is closed. Also, get a message that transmission not in park when the shifter is in park, more recently I have also gotten this message when I start my vehicle and put in in drive. So far I have been able to get both messages to go away by opening and shutting the door a few times(for the door ajar message) and turning the vehicle off and back on(this sometimes takes 3 or 4 tries, for the transmission not in park message).

Recall notice 19s41. Received notification on 5/2/2020 that parts are available. Contacted local dealership, felix sabates Lincoln, on 5/5/2020 to schedule recall. Was told at the time, they had to order the part for recall and it will be approximately 2-3 weeks. On 6/2/2020, I made another call asking for update on recall parts. Was told that part has not arrived and it will be another 2 weeks. Called again on 6/15/2020 for update. Again was told still waiting on parts. Maybe another 2 weeks. Called again on 7/1/2020 and was told parts still have not arrived. The gave the reasoning as covid-19 as the problem for delay in receiving parts. Called Lincoln on 7/13/2020 and was told to contact local dealership for update. Called dealership again on 7/29/2020 and have not received a call back as of 8/2/2020. This has been going on for 90 days and I believe this to long for the recall fix.

The battery will discharge after three to five days without starting. The dealer has been unable to locate the battery draw after several visits. The battery was replaced on the first visit to the dealer service department but did not resolve this issue.

The vehicle will initially have the speed odometer drop to 0 mph while still moving. A "wrench" light will illuminate along with the airbag light. The vehicle will lose power and not shift properly. Once the vehicle comes to a stop, the driver must push the accelerator down until the tach reads approx. 3000 rpms before the vehicle will start moving again. When it is moving it shifts irradically and "bang" the gears. If the driver, after stopping, takes the vehicle out of drive and puts in reverse, it bangs the transmission so hard it feels it going to drop out of the vehicle. This happened to me a number of times. The image I attached I was going 55 mph.

The drivers door ajar sensor is not working correctly. The door sensor on the dash shows adjar when the door is actually closed. It works intermittently. Causes a drain on the battery.

The failure mileage was approximately 17,000.

Since 2017, touch screen went to black several times when I started the car on a city street, and would not turn on within 24 hours. Got more serious in 2019, the screen didn't turn on after 3 days. I took the car to a local dealer. Was diagnosed and replaced defective apim and updated to latest level for pmi on oct 1, 2019, mileage: 60759. Paid for $965. 64.

When driving car reads transmission not and in park and car and engine both shut off while driving.

Tl- the contact owns a 2011 Lincoln Mkx. The contact stated that when in reverse, the rear camera was inoperable. The crest Ford 218 flanders rd, east lyme, CT 06357 (860) 739-5403 was contacted and informed the contact to bring the vehicle in for a diagnostic test. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or independent mechanic for a diagnostic test or repairs. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and informed the contact that the vehicle was not under warranty. The failure mileage was 95,613. Dr.

Left rear door ajar sensor will not shut off. The car consistently thinks the door is ajar when in fact the door is closed. This sets the vehicle car alarm off when the vehicle is parked 2-4 times a day. Additionally, when driving the vehicle at night, all of the interior lights remain on as it thinks the door is open, causing night time driving very difficult. We have to disconnect the battery at night to stop draining the battery. This is obviously a flaw in the design since the switch is built into the door latch. The cost to repair this design flaw has been pushed off onto the consumer which is unethical and wrong.

While traveling on interstate 90 a approx 60 mph. The vehicle started slowing down. I looked at the speedometer and it read 0. Seconds later the dash power flashed and went completely dark. I'm had absolutely no power at 60mph on an interstate. Fortunately, I was able to cruise along at make it to the next exit and stop on the side of the road. Once stopped, I took gear out of drive and put it in park. I push the start button and it started up. Fortunately, I was able to make it home but I was completely terrified that it would happen again. Soon as I made it home, I began researching Lincoln Mkx to see if this has happened to anyone else. To my horror, many Lincoln Mkx owners have reported the same problem. There is no recalls listed on my VIN. This vehicle is a death trap and Lincoln need to address this issue immediately. People have died from this critical malfunction and if not someone's death will be caused. This vehicle is a death trap.

I was driving on interstate 69 in houston, texas when I feel lt like the brake petal was hard to push and also heard a sound from the dash. This terrified me so I got off the freeway and immediately looked up brake check location to go get the brakes checked. I found one 8 miles away and drove there and explained to a technician what had happen. The technician got into my Lincoln and stepped on the brake pedal and said it's going all the way down to the floorboard and hard to push. And he asked me if it felt harder to push. I told him yes. He checked the brakes out and told me it was the brake booster. He said with only 41,700 miles he himself would take it back to the dealership. We don't live in houston, and we were on the way home from houston after my husband having surgery and I needed to get him home. We had no choice but to drive home. I drove in the middle lane at 55 mph and keeping a distance in front of me. When I would use the brake I would have to start braking way ahead when someone would cut I front if me because the brakes were barely working. I babied the brakes all our 4 hour drive home. Please inform me what can be done. This should not be happening to a vehicle with only 41,700 miles. We bought it used in 2017 after hurricane harvey. I'm thinking there was a recall on the braking system and it was never done by the prior owners and they decided to sell it. This should apply to the lemon law. Because we were sold a defective vehicle. We could have been killed driving on a busy interstate in houston TX. Terrifying driving home. I.

Started happening in 2015, "door ajar" indicator stays on when door is closed, causes indicator light to flash back and forth between that and "shift to park" non-stop when in motion. It prevents the car from being locked while stationary and in motion, dangerous with kids in car. At times dome lights will not go out when vehicle is turned off. The alarm goes at random times while parked and off, last night every 2 hrs starting at 12 am. Have come out of work to find lights flashing from alarm having gone off. Afraid to park in garage now because of fire hazard. Key fob must be pushed to unlock drivers door but not passenger side. Starting in 4-19 the navigation screen when in reverse and backing up randomly goes black.

When when I put my car into park it doesn't always register that the car is in park and the p doesn't light up. A notice pops up on my dash and tells men to put my car into park.

On 5/11/19, I was driving about 50mph when the entire dash went dark, which also caused the engine to stop running (with 3/4 tank of gas) as I looked at an �all power off� displayed in the information area of the dash (that normally displays the trip mileage indicator). I immediately pressed the emergency flash button which worked. Fortunately, I was in the right hand lane and had enough speed to simply coast to a safe area on the right shoulder. With the engine not running, I felt I had one chance to use the power brake pedal to stop the car. Had this occurred in a different place, my entire family could have been killed and no one would have known the reason was due to �car failure�. I looked on the internet and found a number of complaints about the engine just stopping that have been documented with cases sent to NHTSA. Their frustration in summary is this: the service department says they can't reproduce the problem. To be clear; I just received a call from my Lincoln dealership on 5/15/19, as the service rep said they can't find a computer error code for the problem, and there is nothing else they can do at this point if they can't replicate the problem. At this point, I believe that if you see something fail, and don't resolve it, you'll see it again. Therefore, I don't trust this car as safe to drive. It is not an acceptable option to hear that your service department can't reproduce the problem. This may require your design engineers to be involved. The question is simple, �what items can cause the computer to �all power off�. No middle ground here as it is a life threatening issue that I just lived through.

When the air condition is on it is cool for a while then the heat is on and will not go back to air condition. Same problem with the heat it is warm for a while and then the air condition comes on. Also, I have had warm air on the passenger side and cool air on the drivers side at the same time.

The problem was diagnosed as a failed throttle body, with trouble codes p2111 present in the on-board computer system, indicating the electronic throttle actuator control system was stuck open and closed, respectively.

While driving, in city traffic, �low oil pressure� warning light came on and car stalled. Had to put car into neutral and restart. Pulled into a parking lot to check oil levels and it was fine.

The car shuts off without warning when you are driving. It has happened 6 times in the last 3 months. The power steering shuts off and the car comes to a complete stop before you are able to try to restart the car. This is a very serious safety issue when this happens on a busy highway and you are in the fast lane or making a left turn across oncoming traffic. I took the car to a local dealer (jerry's Ford of leesburg va) and it is not showing any maintenance codes for the issue and they said there is nothing they can do. I spoke to Ford (case# cas-17221031-z4l4r3) and they said to drive the car until the issue happens again and have it towed back to the dealer as restarting the car will clear the maintenance code. I told Ford this was unacceptable due to this being a very serious safety issue and I didn't think it was a good idea to put someone's life at risk to trouble shoot the problem with the car. Ford has no other options at this time. From research I have done online I can see other people have had this same exact issue. Nhtsa id numbers 11047965 and 11055106 seem to be the same issue.

July 25, 2018: upon starting car while stationary in a parking spot, dash light and info clusters did not light up. Upon further inspection, driving and brake lights did not work or light up. Turned off car, re-started. All lights worked, then drove to an appointment approximately 5 miles away in suburban traffic. July 28, 2018: while parking the car in motion near our hotel in fredericksburg, va (marriott courtyard downtown) all car lights went out. Finished parking car while lights remained out and then went to dinner. Upon returning to car 1 1/2 hour later, lights went on after starting car. August 7, 2018: when my wife was driving the car in a suburban area in motion, all lights went out. She immediately drove home and we called the dealer for service. On August 15, 2018 the car was completed and was ready to take home, which we did without incident. September 17,2018: my wife was driving the car in a suburban area in motion with a friend in the passenger seat. Approximately 12 miles from home all lights went out. She stopped to check all outside lights and break lights to confirm they were not working. She immediately drove home in suburban traffic and then parked the car and we arranged for service (again!!!). With the car stopped in our driveway in park and the engine running, we both checked all the lights to confirm they were still out and that the break lights did not work which remained the case. Fault or problem that caused the risk is unknown.
