Wiper Problems of Lincoln MKX

My backup rearview camera blacked out one day. Then it came back upside down. Then one day it went back to a right-side up view. But then it is upside down again. It is extremely difficult to see anything now when I back up with the view being upside down. I talked to a mechanic and they said they see this issue frequently. There is a recall 25s42 from April 2025 for something similar but it includes a 2015 Lincoln mkc but not the 2011 Lincoln Mkx. They need to add the 2011 Lincoln Mkx to the recall.

My dash touchscreen display became inoperable, no radio, no camera, no nothing my wiper blades come on by themselves and won't allow me to shut them off. The headlights remain on in the auto position. . . They won't shut off. Warning lights on the dash comes on at times (lights up with lots of warnings) I'm no auto professional, but I think my issues are linked. I also, see that years ago there was a body control module recall that mentioned electrical shorts that could possibly cause a vehicle fire. Omg, I believe there's an electrical problem and I am hoping that the recall would cover these issues.

Tl-the contact owns a 2007 Lincoln Mkx. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 mph, heard an loud sound like an explosion. The contact pulled over to the side of the road, to find that the sunroof exploded. The vehicle was not taken to dealer for a diagnosis. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 258,000. Bp.

Takata recall: I got into my Mkx and closed the door and the rear windshield exploded, there were no dings or chips and nothing hit into it. I've been reading online and it looks like its a problem I can't afford to have it fixed and I am hoping Ford will do the right thing. Thank you.

Wife was driving home in Mkx, less than 1000' from home, and heard a loud pop that sounded like a gun shot. Didn't know what happened until she got home and we looked all around. Didn't see anything until we raised back hatch door and heard glass breaking and falling. Looked on top and noticed that the vista roof had exploded. She was going less than 30 mph thankfully and sun roof was completely closed. Researched this online and found it to be a problem on a lot of cars, even found class action case but it was dismissed in 2016 for some reason. What will it take for this to be corrected. . . Does someone have to lose their life because of this? what if you were traveling on the interstate and this happened? could be a real problem! I don't have pics to download yet because I took it to Ford dealership but they still have the car. Service manager has tried to get help from Ford but they refuse. I do see where several have gotten some monetary response from Ford, but it was after a lot of trouble and hassle. Someone, either Ford or the glass manufacturer should be responsible for this. This is the first time I have ever filed any type of complaint but thought it to be necessary if it might save someone's life.

The sprayers on the hood would not spray windshield wiper fluid. My vehicle was in motion when I needed to clean my windshield due to poor visibility.

Sunroof exploded while driving on expressway. It was mid afternoon and temperature was about 72 degrees. Vehicle is housed in a garage most of the time. Luckily sun shade was closed. Insurance covered cost which was $1,700.

During heavy rain storm had to pull over to the side of the road. Windshield wipers did not operate. Took car into service. They had to replace the entire windshield wiper motor assembly.

Originally I lost the control of the adjustment of rear-view side mirrors. Repaired by Ford now the passenger mirror wonders to view my cars image. This is dangerous when changing lanes, to the right side.
