Transmission Gear Indicator problems of the 2013 Lincoln MKZ

Tl the contact owns a 2013 Lincoln Mkz. When the contact parked the vehicle, the gear indicator did not display the park position when the vehicle was shut off. The contact must reshift to the park position several times before it the gear position displayed correctly. The contact called napleton's river oaks Lincoln, llc (1777 river oaks dr, calumet city, IL 60409, (708) 891-5400) and was advised to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer stated that the vehicle was not included in a recall. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure mileage was 100,000.
