Air Bag Light On Problems of Lincoln Navigator

Passenger seat belt does not chime when not connected. No air bag indicator for passenger side. I questioned Ford motors and was told that there is none for passenger side. This update has not been done in the Navigator yet. Is this possible ?????? could someone actually sit in the front passenger seat and not be reminded to fasten there seat belt?????. I have a 2004 Lincoln Navigator, which I have owned since it was new. With the recent recall of f-series for defective airbag clocksprings, I am concerned that my Navigator was not included. The airbag light came on two days ago, I cycled the ignition and it went off. Today it came on again and stayed on through many on/off cycles of the vehicle. I am concerned about inadvertent deployment issues from a possibly defective clockspring. Please help.

Consumer Lincoln Navigator airbag light continues to come on and remain on for various lengths of time. The dealer has been contacted numerous times. They claimed that they did not know why the air bag light continued to illuminate and could not reassure the consumer that the air bag would work if involved in an accident.
