Two problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 1998 Lincoln Town Car. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Whenever pressure is applied to accelerator pedal, vehicle would stall out or die. Took to dealer & informed anti-slip would dethrottle engine. Would happen in traffic. Took to another dealer & informed the same thing. Anti-slip keeps wheel from spinning on wet pavement.
Consumer's foot sticks on the accelerator pedal due to inadequate clearance between the floor and the upper partition.
