While driving, a loud noise was heard from the front of the vehicle. The driver noticed that the noise level has increased enormously louder upon acceleration. The mechanic informed the driver that both driver, and passenger side upper and lower ball joints needed to be replaced due to corrosion. The failure caused the front end of the vehicle collapsed to the ground. The manufacturer refused to honor recall 98v322000.

While pulling inside of a parking lot passenger side wheel collapsed . Consumer was unable to move the vehicle. Had the vehicle towed to the dealer for inspection, and mechanic determined that the both upper and lower ball joints needed to be replaced.

The consumer brought the vehicle to a mechanic to have an oil change, and it was discovered that the lower ball joints were defective. The manufacturer stated that his vehicle is not included in the recall, number 98v322000.
While driving 20 mph, the ball joint snapped. This caused the consumer to go into a ditch, which avoided a severe collision. Vehicle was towed to a dealership, who did not resolve the problem.

While driving 25 mph, the front driver's side wheel fell off. The driver was able to pull to the side of the road and call a towing truck to have the vehicle towed to a dealership. The consumer replaced the upper and lower ball joints.
When braking , the steering wheel would pull hard to the right. This made it hard for the driver to maintain control of vehicle. The brake rotors were warped. Also the lower ball joints were replaced, the engine light illuminated, the dealer found the evap canister solenoid valve leaking.
While driving consumer hears a "squeaking" noise coming from the left side. Consumer suspects that bushing and/or ball joint is defective and poses a safety hazard. Related recall 98v322000, consumer's v. I. N. Is not included. Ts.
While consumer was backing into a parking space at low speed, the lower ball joint on the right front wheel suddenly failed. Consumer had all four(4) ball joints replaced (left and right).
The lower control arm/ball joint experienced the same problem as stated in recall 98v322000. The manufacturer was contacted. The vehicle was not included in the recall due to the vehicle identification number.
While driving vehicle at 10-15 mph left front ball joint broke, and vehicle could not be controled. Contacted dealer, and dealer was not willing to do anything because of the mileage.
The lower control arm disengaged from the lower ball joint, and dropped to the ground, tearing a large hole in the front tire, this caused complete loss of control of vehicle. . Also the inner and outer tie rod ends were replaced.
While traveling approximately 5 mph front/right of vehicle crashed to the ground unexpectedly. An unknown component of front suspension disconnected from vehicle. Dealership has not examined this vehicle to diagnose the problem. Please provide any additional information / documentation. Additional note: the vehicle was examined by the dealership and it has been determined that the right-front ball joint broke and separated from the control arm. The manufacturer informed the consumer his vehicle is not included in recall 98v322000.
Prior to recall the lower ball joint separated while the consumer was driving resulting in loss of steering control and the front end dropped onto the pavement shredding the tire, consumer was not notified of the recall. (recall # 98v-322).

The tie rod failed again after two previous replacements. Also, the ball joints were replaced twice. While going over a speed bump, one could hear the tie rod touching the ground.
After pulling into a parking lot and shutting vehicle off front left ball joint for lower control arm broke. Dealership has informed consumer that vehicle was not affected by recall 98v322000. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
While pulling into a parking lot heard a loud noise. Consumet thought that drove over a hole, got out of vehicle, and found out that ball joints had fallen off vehicle without prior warning. The dealer replaced broken lower ball joints and inner tie rod ends.
Vehicle was manufactured with no grease fittings on ball joints , it was sealed and could not be maintained. Therefore, when there was a lack of lubrication on ball joints, it would freeze up, causing steering wheel to lock up, resulting in consumer running off road. Replace pitman arm and lower ball joints.
Lower control arm broke, dropping vehicle to the ground, and consumer lost power steering. Also, while applying the brakes, brakes failed due to a broken brake line. Consumer stated carburetor is stuck causing engine to race at high rpm, intake manifold failed causing engine damage.
