3 Engine Exhaust System problem

Failure Date: 04/15/1998

None of the first three problems were causing any safety hazards. The transmission failure made the shifting very jerky and rpm to go high. I did not try to experiment on this on the highway. Driving a Mazda is the worst experience of my life. Never buy/lease or rent a Mazda again.

4 Engine Exhaust System problem

Oil pressure switch broke, causing the oil to discharge into the exhaust, resulting in a potential saftey hazard.
