Front Driver Side Air Bag Inflator Problems of Mazda B-series Truck

I received a recall notice from Mazda. I am in hawaii. Mazda has moved off of this island. I can not get in touch with anyone at Mazda as their 800-222-5500 number does not answer. This recall regards the inflator of the airbag exploding due to humidity and temperature fluctuations. Hawaii = humidity. I seemingly have no recourse as neither the provided Mazda number does not answer 800-222-5500 nor does anyone pick up at the NHTSA number provided in the recall notice 888-327-4236. Is there anybody who can give me information?.

Takata inflators and other, they keep sending me cards and letters, which warn me not to drive my car. Then they say they will tow my car and provide me with a other car. But their not doing anything. I'm very concerned at this point and I need them to take action and help me.

Takata recall. I have a recall and it is suppose to be dangerous yet no one is fixing the issue. I am told they do not know how to fix it. Does not sound like rocket science, install a new passenger frontal air bag inflator.

Takata recall. Received initial safety recall - preliminary notification in August 2016 for passenger air bag inflator replacement. Called and spoke to Mazda customer experience center on 05/09/17 at which time Mazda confirmed air bag is still on recall, no repair yet. Again called and spoke to Mazda customer experience center on 06/14/17 at which time Mazda confirmed there is still no repair yet, and stated that the B-series Truck is not a common vehicle so it will be one of the last repairs manufactured since they needed to start with the more common vehicles on the road that are affected by the air bag recall. Mazda has not repaired the defect within a reasonable amount of time.

Takata recall I received a letter from Mazda motor corporation (safety recall 9616f) in August 2016 to get my 2007 Mazda B-series Truck's air bag inflator replaced. The VIN is 4f4yr12d97pm03921. I have repeatedly contacted roger beasley Mazda at 6825 burnet rd in austin, and they have said they don't have the part and don't know when they will get it. It is now almost February � six months later � I am concerned about driving my truck, because it is not safe for my family. It is my only vehicle.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2005 Mazda b404 se xa. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 16v346000 (air bags) for the front passenger side air bag inflator and 16v048000 (air bags) for the front driver side air bag inflator. The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not notified. The contact had not experienced a failure. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Takata recall - Mazda recall number 9116a, NHTSA recall number 16v-048 I was informed by letter about this recall well over a year ago, but the status still remains "recall incomplete, remedy not yet available". My dealership cannot advise if or when parts will be available. I am very concerned because it was a Mazda b2300 series pickup a year newer than mine which blew up and killed a person, initiating this recall of both Mazda and Ford ranger branded Mazda pickups. The failure rate of these inflators increases rapidly with vehicle age.
