Takata recall: I received a notice in summer 2016 advising me of the recall for the passenger-side airbag. The letter instructed me to not carry any passengers until the airbag is fixed. As of today (2/11/2017), the NHTSA "lookup" page says "recall status: recall incomplete, remedy not yet available. " this is taking too long. How do I disable my passenger-side airbag?.
