The contact owns a 2001 Mazda B3000. While driving between 2-3 mph out of a parking lot, the brakes failed. The contact had to apply the parking brake in order to stop the vehicle. The dealer stated that there were no recalls for this failure. The contact was informed that the closer he lived to the beach, the greater the chance that the vehicle would become corroded. The vehicle has not yet been inspected, but will be diagnosed and repaired, if necessary. The failure and current mileages were 20,700.
