Takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 Mazda Cx-7. The contact stated that the steering wheel was tight and difficult to turn left or right. In addition, the air bag warning light illuminated. The dealer (shortline Mazda,90 havana st, aurora, CO 80010, (303) 364-2200 ) was contacted and they indicated that the part needed was not available for NHTSA campaign number: 16v356000 (air bags). The vehicle was also included in NHTSA campaign number: 16v593000 (suspension) and the dealer made no mention of that recall and when the parts and remedy may be provided from the manufacturer. The manufacturer was notified of the failures and the contact was waiting to determine if they may be able to supply a solution to the dealer for the failures as well as the remedy and parts for the two recall repairs. The vehicle was last left at the dealers due to the steering wheel failure and the air bag warning light remaining illuminated. The failure mileage was not available. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
