Tire Pressure Monitoring System problem #1

Own a 2009 Mazda cx-9 equipped with bridgestone dueler h/l 400, size 245/50/r20. At 26040 miles tpms low tire pressure indicator light illuminated. Began to unscrew valve stem cap on passenger side rear tire and it cracked in half, sensor came out, and all air in tire came out. Contacted Mazda roadside assistance which came out and removed flat tire and put on spare. Was told by Mazda that valve stem fix was my responsibility, took flat tire to nearby independent shop where new valve stem was installed with sensor at cost of $135. Contacted Mazda customer assistance and was told I should have taken tire t Mazda dealership.

Tire Sidewall problem #2

While driving under normal, dry conditions on highway 540 in north carolina, my right rear copper cs5 ultra touring tire catastrophically failed and separated the tread completely from the sidewall of the tire on my 2009 Mazda cx-9.
