One problem related to car stall has been reported for the 2009 Mazda CX9. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I was in the parking lot looking for a space when the engine suddenly shut off! radio was still on. I had absolutely no control on the vehicle except for "gliding" to the parking spot ahead of me and braking. Once parked I turned the ignition key on off, took it out, re-inserted the key and restarted the car. The car responded normally. As a test, I backed out of the stall and parked in another one without any problem. 2 hours later the car started without any problem.
