One problem related to headlights has been reported for the 2009 Mazda CX9. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The low beam headlamp connector on the passenger side melted inside the headlight causing the light to fail. Now the driver side has done the exact same thing causing the light to fail. This could create a serious injury and requires the replacement of a defective light connector.
