One problem related to front air bag sensor control has been reported for the 2010 Mazda CX9. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The weight sensor for the front seat is defective. My son is 105 lbs. He has just started sitting on the front seat. I notice that the "air bag off" light keeps going on and off while the car is in motion. According to the manual, the weight limit is 66 lbs above which the passenger airbag should be active. Manual states the weight on page 2-45 and also on other pages.
