1 Warning problem of the 2018 Mazda MAZDA3

Failure Date: 06/07/2024

The collision warning light and lane assistance light come on frequently. It used to just be when the weather was under 40 degrees and the car was cold. However, it now happens all the time. It seems to go on and off for no reason. Additionally, the infotainment system keeps switching radio stations or ghosting without anyone touching it. It also drops bluetooth connectivity constantly.

3 Warning problem of the 2018 Mazda MAZDA3

Failure Date: 02/16/2024

I took my vehicle into rbmc dealership due to the vehicle was experiencing electrical issues and had an open recall / still does. The dealership said I can’t have a dash cam plugged in to a charging port. Fcm / ldw / e-break staying on / throwing error codes = c1001 fsc failure type 97 & u3003 epb control module power supply failure type 16. They gave me back the car the battery failed the next day and when I called them they banned the VIN of this car to ever return to them. ( the battery was under factory warranty) the issue has only gotten worse and removed my dash cam as they demanded and now I can’t get the car fixed and the issue has gotten worse then taking the car to this dealership less then 30 days ago. They also did not perform the recall when the car was there. The car now has the fallowing codes b13d3 / c1001 / u3003 & possibly more codes because the whole dash is flashing auto light / fcm/ ldw and break. My 73 year old grandma can’t even take the car in to get fixed the refuse to touch it after it had issues when they gave it back to us and it’s under a extended warranty and was a cpo and has a extended warranty through Mazda. Car only has 31k miles on it and is dangerous for her to dive and myself. Issue has been on going for over a month.

4 Warning problem of the 2020 Mazda MAZDA3

Failure Date: 06/01/2022

Lane departure warning activated and attempted to correct during a gentle curve. The location had shifted lanes due to construction, so clear lines were visible but not the actual lane to follow which is a frequent occurrence in new york city. The system came close to steering me into the adjacent lane occupied by another vehicle forcing me to fight the correction. There was a lane departure warning on the dash and I believe the blind spot indicator was on (I. E. The adjacent vehicle was detected in some capacity). I considered this especially dangerous as in this zone also had very tight lanes so my physical correction could have also caused an accident. There was no malfunction of the physical components. No dealer or service center has reproduced the issue however I have discussed with other drivers of the same line (2020-23 Mazdas) who have had similar experiences leading to a decision to disable these "safety" features. Mazda provides a reasonable description of scenarios where lane departure and assistance will disable itself due to poor conditions or low confidence. I would recommend at a minimum requiring the system to detect and potentially differentiate lane widths, as city driving sometimes has extremely tight lanes (for example, the inner roadway of the williamsburg bridge where two adjacent lanes are perhaps 8-9ft with less than 2ft on either side to the wall). In these scenarios, any steering correction at all is more dangerous than if it were off.

5 Warning problem of the 2012 Mazda MAZDA3

Failure Date: 02/08/2022

I can be turning left from a full stop and a few times almost went up onto the median seperating traffic. The car doesn't keep straight in it's own lane unless I put a lot of pressure with both hands on steering wheel and that doesn't always keep it straight, it veers left and right going down the road. Tire pressure light keeps coming on. When backing up hear like a grinding sound in passenger front tire. I bought this used at a Ford car dealership in June 2021. Thats all I can think of right now. This has happened more than once no just one time.
