1 Coolant Leaking problem of the 2007 Mazda MAZDA5

Failure Date: 01/31/2012

Check engine light came on the night before. The next morning my wife went to run an errand before going to check the car out at the dealership, but she only got about 13 miles when the engine blew out and started smoking. The vehicle had approx 56k miles and the engine should have been covered under warranty, but the dealership states that it was not covered anymore because we ran the vehicle that morning with the check engine light on. The dealership stated that the engine was completely blown and that it overheated. They state that there was no coolant in it. There was no prior leak in the coolant, and the coolant was checked and refilled only 2 weeks prior. We would have noticed a coolant leak on our driveway.
