1 Service Brakes problem of the 2003 Mazda MPV

Failure Date: 09/10/2018

I would like to report the vance who is the auto manager at sears auto in salem, oregon at 955 lancaster drive ne salem, oregon 97301. I bought 4 new tires in June 2018 and purchased a road hazard plus warranty. In between this incident I am reporting to you; I reported vance for being very unprofessional to me in the store, making demeaning comments to me, and denying me the opportunity to buy all season tires that were available online. I filed a complaint in July after going in for an oil change and vance doing something to my headlights when he was not asked to. I am reporting that every part that I replace new on my car; vance went to that area (new headlights, new rotors) and caused me to have to go receive additional work (which I did on my rotors, I had to have them machined even though I had new ones put on in 2016. New rotors last more than 1 brake pad change). I received that work on September 10, 2018 at another automotive shop. I went to sears on September 10, 2018 because my tire was low. My tires are still under warranty. Vance from sears auto in salem, oregon stated he would not service my car because I filed a report with sears customer service. He stated I can drive to sears in beaverton, oregon when vance knew I had a nail in my tire. He was putting my safety at risk. I had to go buy another tire, call the district manager (leo), and have him approve for my tire to be changed in salem and to be reimbursed for the tire that I paid for. Leo was very professional and fixed the situation but I am reporting vance attempting to compromise my safety, working on areas of my car I did not ask or approve, unprofessional abuse, and for discrimination. There are other customers that have filed customer service complaints against this salem auto shop in salem, oregon but they were still able to utilize their warranty. I appreciate your investigati.

3 Service Brakes problem of the 2002 Mazda MPV

Failure Date: 01/28/2010

My wife was driving Mazda Mpv van which is 2002 model. She was driving at about 20-25 mph and tried to apply the brakes when she saw another car approaching the road; the brakes did not engage and she started hearing some heavy sound coming from engine. The van continued to accelerate and she had to take wide turn to go right on another road. My wife tried to apply brakes several times but van was still accelerating and reached about 35-40 mph or higher. She had to crash the van in the trees which were there in the middle divider section of the road. Two to three trees got broken before the van got stuck in one of the trees and then stopped. During this crash, front tires got burst, front of the van got total damage, middle section of the van also got damaged and my wife got neck and back injuries. The van is currently located in the liberty mutual insurance company warehouse in sacramento.

4 Service Brakes problem of the 2003 Mazda MPV

Failure Date: 08/30/2008

I have a 2003 Mazda Mpv ES. It has 60,000 miles on it. My problem is with the brakes, I think! no one can find anything wrong. Know how it sound if you run over an unlevel manhole cover at a slow speed? everytime I brake, there's a clangy metal to metal sound. Loud! I have had the van put on a rack 4-5 times, and no one can visibly see anything wrong. I have looked at all the recalls and see nothing similar to this. It's driving me crazy because it sounds like the bottom is falling out everytime I brake. .

6 Service Brakes problem of the 2005 Mazda MPV

Failure Date: 12/12/2005

My vehicle is under national recall highway safety recall, due to manufacturing issues. I need to trade my vehicle in and I'm being over charged for vehicles that are not worry to be on the highway. I feel I should get an manufacture discount on an used/new vehicle because I should not have to pay for manufactured mistakes and I should not be over charged for vehicles that are not worthy of the price tag on them. Thank you, ms. Yasmeyn annair p. O. Box 280293 nashville, TN 37228.

8 Service Brakes problem of the 2002 Mazda MPV

Failure Date: 11/15/2002

I bought this car for 6 months, the engine light on twice, didn't fix it first time, the advisor said the gas tank cap is not close tight enought. Couple of days later, the engine light is one again, this time they found control system incorrect flow, small leak, hose off of purge valve at air cleaner housing. Car pulls to left on highway and right on local street. Brought in 4 time, admit alignment on the 3rd time and fix it, but still pull. Brought in again the fourth time, said found no pulling problem. We complaint that the car occasionally jerk when press gas paddle, the jerk feeling simliar to the way the car got hit in behind. They found no code for it. The car beep, they can't find any code for it. There are many problem we found in the car, but they said they can't find the code. One advisor think that the car's pulling because the car is too high. Also, it happen 3 times since I bought the car that after I placed the gear to reverse, then place it back to drive, the car won't go but the engine run. To fix it, then I place the gear back to park and to drive, then the car back to normal run. I'm very regretful to have bought this car. It has so many problem and the dealear doesn't seem to want to fix the problem either. I'm, the consumer have to paid financially, and mentally for this car. It is a disaster.
