Two problems related to seats have been reported for the 1999 Mazda Protege. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Metal rods in driver's seat can be felt in both sides of the back when sitting. Believed this can cause back injuries if invovled in a vehicle collision, it may force the rods up against the driver's back. Dealer notified.
Loop on consumer's shoe got stuck on seat lever underneath seat preventing him from being able to depress the clutch while driving. Nlm.
