Front driveshaft coupler broke while driving. This caused all (4) tires to be worn to steel belt. Please describe details.
I have had 3 mercedes in the last year. I had 2 clk430's which also had the same problem. These 2 cars were purchased thru smythe european. The problem is that the transmission will go into neutral sometimes. This is a very intermittent problem but has occurred 6 times in these 3 cars. It seems to me that this is a problem will all mercedes with this transmission. I feel that in this year they have yet to discover what is the cause. Please contact me if you have any questions.
