I bought the car yesterday, and today realized the car is leaking fuel, pooling under the back seat and spilling out under the car. The passenger headlight will not work; we tried 3 bulbs. The panel displays a message stating one of the tag lights is out, but it actually works.

Takata recall. Cars with this issue should be part of the recall. I have same exact problem as the 7th complainer. Case #10574681. Srs light came on with 1 malfunction. The restraint system. I took it to the workshop to have the scan codes checked. The code reader said that there is a problem with one of the airbags. The mechanic thinks that the airbags are disabled. But the owners manual says there is a possibility that an airbag could go off while driving. I just read that mercedes included 814000 vehicles in the recall. My car is not included. I think that this car might not be safe to drive. Would you please help out and have an investigation. Thanks in advance.

I don't know that my car was a recall and when I first got it my gas gauase when out and stuff start to go bad. The car place I purchase the car from knew all this stuff and don't inform me at all. I know I bought a used car but I was hope they will let me know . Now that my warranty up they is giving the run alway . What should about it . So when I go put gas in my car I don't know how much gas it is in my car because my gas read and meter in the car don't work and also have a short in it.
After driving 1 mile from home, the air conditioned system suddenly shut off and smoke started to come out from the driver's vent into the cabin. I left the car uninjured and called 911. Firemen came 10 minutes later and I could see flames coming through the left vent. The driver's side of the dashboard melted completely, the windshield cracked, and my insurer declared the car a total loss. I'm glad there was no personal injury, though the incident was really scary. I had recently taken my car (3 months ago) to the mercedes dealer for a service that cost me more than $6,000, and the car was supposed to run like new. The ac had never failed before this.
The electronic engine/gearbox protection switched off the engine while the car is on the move in a highway. The incidence happen twice in 2011 and 2012. Fortunately, I was able to pull over on the shoulder and restart the engine without any adverse incidence. But, the potential for catastrophic injury as a result of sudden loss of engine power in a highway concerns me.
The srs and numerous other malfunctions come on. The headlights and dash lights along with the blinkers are turn on and off by themselves. At first turning the car off the malfunctions went away only to come back a few minutes later. I find this to be very dangerous since the air bags, seat-belts wont work in a accident. Along with if lights go out while driving at night. This problem has happened to me twice before after paying thousand to have it fixed it reappears after a year. I have researched and it seems that everyone is having this same problem due to faulty wire and sensor.
