Tl- takata recall. The contact owns a 2013 mercedes-benz C250. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign: 18v043000 (airbags) however, the part for the recall repair was not available. The contact stated the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact stated the passenger airbag warning light was illuminated. The contact also stated that while stopped they were impacted by another vehicle towards the driver rear side of the vehicle. The contact stated that the vehicle's headrest had detached when impacted. No airbags deployed. The contact received injuries to the neck and back. Medical attention was needed. A police report was filed. The contact stated that the vehicle's abs warning light, airbag warning lights, as well as several other warning lights on the dashboard now illuminate shortly after the vehicle has been driven. The vehicle's brakes also do not brake properly. When driven the vehicle would suddenly stall.
