I received a notice August, 2016 notifying me of a defective driverside airbag. I called my dealer twice and was told they are waiting to received shipment and will contact me when they arrive. It is now October ,2017 and still have not heard from them.
"takata recall" received 2 recall notices one for the drivers side dated June 2016 and one for the passenger side air bags dated August 2016.
Takata recall this problem has gone from a takara recall to a passenger -side airbag recall. I am highly concerned that everyday I transport my child to and from school can be at danger of metal fragments deploying if this airbag releases.
Takata recall: I called the main phone number for Mercedes Benz and there are no parts available to fix the recall on my front and side airbags.
