I was directly connected to mb of catonsville by mbusa and was assured part was there/ I was given an appointment next day Thursday at 8:15 a. M. At appt. , 2 hours later I received a call from the svc mgr. Part was not available. It might take until Monday June 20, 2016. It is now Tuesday June 21, 2016. I have not heard anything from mb of catonsvile about the part. No one has reached out to me. I ask for a loaner because I was tired of driving the vehicle with anxiety since 2015. 54 Seat Belt problem of the 2008 Mercedes Benz C300

Failure Date: 08/08/2014

Near the end of a 388 mile drive, the warning light for srs malfunction came on although it seemed that no condition changed. My car already had the tail light failure notification light engaged for a few months already. My concern is that this may be more than an electrical notification issue and that the srs (secondary restraining system) is not going to work should I get into an accident.

55 Seat Belt problem of the 2008 Mercedes Benz C300

Failure Date: 06/26/2014

Srs malfunction for front left seat message popped up recently. On further investigation by a mechanic is was found that the error code was 9b51 which mean that the front left seat belt buckle needs to be replaced. The problem with this issue is(as explained by the mechanic) that in an event of a crash the airbag will not deploy, which is pretty serious. Although I was still under the factory warranty for miles (50,000) my years with the car was above their year limit(4 years). I have seen exactly the same issue being reported by many benz C300 year 2008+ owners reporting this issue in many forums online and there's a mention of this issue to NHTSA as well.

59 Seat Belt problem of the 2008 Mercedes Benz C300

For unknown reason, a warning about srs restraint system driver side failure. Unsure if this is air bag, or seat belt related. Dealer wanted $2200. To fix. Outrageous safety issue. From online search this seems to happen regularily to mb products. Why has dot not taken action. Thank you for a response.

60 Seat Belt problem of the 2009 Mercedes Benz C300

Failure Date: 09/03/2012

Right after the manufactures warranty ended, the left front srs malfunction light came on in my vehicle, accompanied by the air bag light. I did research and found that there are several people who suffer from this malfunction. The light does not go off and the air bag system will not deploy in case of an accident. This is a major issue that is incredibly expensive to fix (approx. Costs are over $1000. 00 at my dealership) and since it has been a recurring defect in the vehicle year after year, it needs to be fixed by mercedes at no cost to myself and other mercedes owners.

61 Seat Belt problem of the 2009 Mercedes Benz C300

Failure Date: 04/05/2011

I bought my Mercedes Benz and notice that my tail light and the light on the front of the car will turn on by itself while my car was parked in the morning my car battery will be dead needing a charge. I had a recall from Mercedes Benz dealer and I took the car to the dealership and supposedly they fix it and the car had gotten worse. It had burned the harnesses and fog harness, while I was driving the car was acting like shutting off the radio and ac will start shutting off and turning on at the same time while I was on the highway on my way home from work. Right now my car only have working the high beam. I been getting a lot of recalls for this car but really it seems like I'm loosing my time .

62 Seat Belt problem of the 2011 Mercedes Benz C300

Failure Date: 03/01/2011

My 2011 c-300 has two recalls pending for both air bags (driver and passenger). I have been complaining to mbusa for over 2 years to have them replaced. To this day 11/06/2017 mbusa had made no attempt to contact me or provide a solution. The rear seat-belts lockup on passengers and ratchet down consistently with little movement thereby requiring the passengers to unfasten their belts and ride without the seat belt being fastened. I purchased the vehicle new and both problems have been existing from the purchase date March 2011.
