One problem related to other fuel system hoses lines/piping, and fittings has been reported for the 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When fuel tank is filled completely there is an extremely strong odor of gasoline inside and outside car. Fuel pump has been replaced and the fuel tank seals have been replaced multiple times with no improvement. Gas cap warning light now comes on intermittently and check engine light remains on. Have been advised to replace fuel tank now.
