One problem related to other fuel system tank filling/charging has been reported for the 2006 Mercedes Benz CLS500. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Fuel sending unit leaks after filling up gas tank. Holds the raw gas in top of sending unit. Causes inside of car to fill up with raw gas smell, gets really bad on hot days. Smells like raw gas in garage. Fuel sending unit is under back seat behind driver, which could be very dangerous.
