The passenger front air bag malfunction,the passenger seat head rest deployed and and malfunction with any incident,the driver air bag is light on malfunction. After I took it to the dealership radio stop working no audio.

The contact owned a 2011 mercedes-benz E350. The contact stated that while his daughter was driving approximately 30 - 35 mph, another vehicle crashed into the driver's side front door. The contact stated that the steering wheel and knee air bags deployed upon impact. The contact was unaware of the side curtain air bags had deployed; and if so, did the emergency response unit cut away the curtain air bags to remove his daughter from the vehicle prior to his arrival. The contact stated that the driver’s side door was totally smashed but he did not see where the side curtain air bags might have deployed. The contact's daughter was transported by ambulance to the hospital with a fractured and dislocated pelvic bone in four locations and a fractured left arm. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a salvage yard and deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 130,000.

Takata recall, I have a 2011 mb that I have received a recall on for replacement. This was received in February 2019, and here it is sept 19 and nothing has been done. I depend on this car daily for business and driving usage, but recently read where a person was hurt from this issue. I have clients, family, and friends who ride in this vehicle. I have no replacement nor time frame of repair. My complaint is that my vehicle has been sidelined for repair and it should be replaced by mb or takata. I am screwed and no one cares! I have recall paperwork from mb. The car is unsellable, untradeable and undriveable due to safety. What am I supposed to do? this is unconscionable and mb should replace my vehicle at sticker price!.

Takata airbag recall. Received a notice for the 2016 recall a few months back noting the airbags were ready. Took the car in and the dealership didn't have them noting they were on back order. The dealer had my car for nearly two weeks, so I wrote other dealerships, which never responded. This recall is now 3 years old and there had been no resolution and is unexceptable.

"takata recall" mercedes-benz has consistently been pushing back the repair date for my vehicle. The initial repair date was August 2018, which then a letter received noting it would be remedied in December. When December arrived, my local dealer noted that my VIN shows that there is no longer an expected repair date. I contacted mercedes-benz directly and they just noted that there is no remedy expected anytime soon. The company has also refused to provide a vehicle in the meantime while a remedy is being found. Personally, the takata airbag issue is worrisome to myself and my family and the fact that mercedes-benz does not feel any sympathy and will not provide another vehicle due to the major safety concerns is simply unprofessional. Many other automakers is providing vehicles to their clients, and mercedes-benz should be doing the same. They must realize they people do travel to areas they do experience high corrosion rates and therefore, they are more likely to be affected than the average vehicle. Mercedes-benz should really rethink their stance on these recalls for their clients.

Todays date is Aug 4th 2018 over two years later, several missed deadlines have come and gone with vague excuses about airbag availability. When is the NHTSA going to intervene? I just called my local orange park mb dealership and was told maybe by December the airbags will arrive. Sorry, I just do not believe them based on their track record. What if the air bag goes off and my wife and 11yr old son are killed? this is a life threatening issue, basically the cars could kill the drivers. Surely this is what NHTSA is setup for? does this agency have any powers to act and protect consumers? please do something before more people die. Takata recall. I have been complaining to my local mecedes benz dealer that my srs light is now on. I feel this is putting me in a dangerous situation because there is a recall to fix the airbag. I feel my car should be a priority as one of the first to get fixed since the warning is there now. I feel my life and those of my loved ones are unnecessarily being put in harms way when they can fix this issue immediately. I want takata to issue me a voucher for my mercedes to be checked immediately. I know other cars need to be changed but theirs is not displaying a "warning" that something is wrong right now. Please help.

This vehicle was originally sold and registered in florida meaning that this vehicle has spent the vast majority of it's life in a high humidity environment. With takata recently declaring bankruptcy, what is being done about the potentially hazardous airbags in my vehicle? mercedes-benz is able to tell me nothing. I find this situation to be unacceptable.
