2 Tank Filler Pipe And Cap problem of the 2005 Mercedes Benz E500

Failure Date: 02/08/2011

2005 Mercedes Benz e class has fuel tank issues. Many owners have reported the same issue 2 to 3 years after purchase. First the fuel cap indicator comes on, later triggering the engine light to appear and upon repair attempts everything but the fuel tank is suspected. A few owners reported a filter valve connected to the fuel tank under the back seat actually getting hot, very hot while driving. Please let's not wait until loss of life forces us to act!!!
