Two problems related to warning light on have been reported for the 2014 Mercedes Benz GLK350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Tl takata recall. The contact owns a 2014 mercedes-benz Glk350. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 19v010000 (air bags) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact called mercedes-benz of south charlotte (950 n polk st, pineville, nc 28134;(704)889-4444) where it was confirmed that the part was not available. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the air bags warning light was illuminated. VIN tool confirms parts not available.
Warning light constantly remains on on my dashboard regarding airbags- when checking I found vehicle had airbag recall. Made appointment at dealership who said I had to contact mercedes. Shortly thereafter got letter from mercedes-benz USA llc March 2019 stating the passenger side airbag is affected however suitable replacement part is not available and will sent another letter when available. To date nothing received or done. The letter references: NHTSA id #19v0 10 - pnd tak phase 4.
