As the passenger airbag has been deemed defective and as I live in the environment determined to have an accelerated degradation of the airbag deployment components, I am very concerned about the lack of movement by mercedes-benz on a known safety issue; to mitigate the injury/death risk, I deliberately limit the vehicle's use. Need action by mercedes-benz ASAP.

To whom it may concern: after receiving your letter, I contacted the local dealer regarding the takata recall for the airbags, and the dealer in north houston Mercedes Benz mentioned that right now the recall is working on car models from 2010-2011 which typically represents a time from of more than 8-months for my car to have service regarding this recall. In an attempt to expedite this process, what can be done to ensure safety for the driver and passengers in the meantime. I am shocked that the service time is more than 8 months because in the event of an accident, the protection is not secure. What can be done to remedy this situation within a shorter time frame?.
