There is an active recall that mercedez is ignoring.
This recall was issued on July 7, 2022, nearly 6 months ago. The recall involves a sticker. This vehicle is rented out on turo. Turo delisted this vehicle due to this open recall costing us over $1,000 in lost rental income for our business. Payments on this van are nearly $800/month. This is causing enormous financial pressure on our business with no end in sight. We do not believe it should take 6+ months to replace a sticker. Additionally, the VIN plate on this van is nothing more than a sticker on the dashboard. The VIN plate was damaged when the windshield was replaced last July. Now we cannot even sell this van. It is taking forever for mb to provide a new VIN plate to the glass replacement company.
