The contact owns a 2009 Mercedes Benz. The contact stated when started the vehicle he noticed that the brake sensor warning light would illuminate. The dealer was contacted, and the vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated concerns that his vehicle become very hazardous and could severely injure someone. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and was advised to contact NHTSA for further assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 230,000.
