Mercedes Benz ML350 owners have reported 1 problem related to other fuel system fuel injection system (under the other fuel system category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Took our 2012 mercedes-benz Ml350 bluetec to the dealership numerous times due to an overpowering fuel smell and burned plastic in the cabin of the vehicle. We had to stop several times because we felt sick as if we were going to pass out and/or throw up. But, then it started to affect our children and we demanded that the dealership find the root cause. They finally determined that it was a fuel leak around the fuel injectors that completely charred components in the fuel injection cavity. It could have created a fire or loss of control of the vehicle. I noticed that this has been reported to the NHTSA which is why I am also reporting this now also. My vehicle is only serviced by the mercedes-benz dealership. The dealership is charging me $1900 for the repair of the charred components. Nhtsa id number: 11090864 reported exactly the same issue. I thought I was going crazy until they found the root cause of the smell. Now that there are at two reported cases of this both in 2012 mercedes-benz Ml350 vehicles it should be investigated.
