Structure Problems of Mercedes Benz ML350

The contact owns a 2013 mercedes-benz Ml350. The contact stated that there was water on the floor below the front driver’s side. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer because the battery was drained. The contact stated that while the vehicle was placed onto the tow truck, the contact and the hauler noticed that the vehicle continued to leak water. The contact advised the dealer that after the battery was replaced, the contact asked that the location of the leak be sought. The contact received the vehicle with the battery replaced; however, contact was informed that a diagnostic test was needed. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 74,000.

The contact owns a 2009 Mercedes Benz Ml350. The contact stated that the vehicle hatchback door did not come equipped with a sensor that would prevent the door from closing if a person was in the door path. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised that the vehicle was not designed with a sensor and that were unable to alter the design of the vehicle. The manufacturer was not contacted and the vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 21,000.

Very large pieces of plastic trim have blown off my car on the interstate. Fortunately no one was injured, but I surmise it did some damage to the cars behind me and most likely could have caused a serious accident. This vehicle trim was not fastened on securely at the factory.
