Consumer requesting reimbursement for 2001 S430 instrument cluster. The consumer didn't receive full reimbursement. The consumer was told he would only receive the amount that Mercedes Benz would reimburse under their warranty program. The consumer was told had he waited to have the work done after the recall notice was received, it wouldn't have cost anything.
