One problem related to front air bag has been reported for the 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer's girl friend 5'2" tall is too short for air bag on passenger's side. She is generally 10 inches away from air bag. Would she be safe in case of an accident? also, concern about safety of short person and air bag; added on 09-07-1999.
